Hello, my friends.
I really enjoyed listening to this discussion from the Scottish Family Party featuring John-William Noble, author of the book Biblical Marriage: Two Sinners and a Gracious God.
John-William first spoke about the important court case against the Scottish Government’s decision to close churches during lockdown. He was part of a group of ministers who carefully studied the legislation. The judge ruled in favour of the churches, upholding their important role in society.
Richard Lucas then interviewed John-William about his book on marriage. It looks like a very helpful, Bible-based resource for couples preparing for marriage.
I hope to buy a copy soon. It would be excellent material for pre-marital counselling in a future church plant.
Marriage is such a precious gift from God, one of the few things He established in the Garden of Eden that still remains. In today’s society, where marriage and the family are under constant attack, this kind of solid biblical teaching is greatly needed.

Let’s continue to pray for strong Christian marriages and families in Scotland.
God bless you,
Peter
