Hello, my friends.

A very sad tragedy occurred today near Stonehaven in Scotland. A passenger train derailed, and three people lost their lives. Several others were seriously injured.

The derailment appears to have been caused by a landslide on the tracks following heavy flash flooding last night.

Please join me in prayer:

• For the families who have lost loved ones ~ that the Lord would comfort them in their grief.
• For those who are injured ~ for healing, strength, and peace.
• For the emergency services who responded so quickly and courageously.
• For the investigators ~ that they would have the wisdom to understand what happened and help prevent future tragedies.

In moments like these, we are reminded how fragile life is.

Let’s pray that many would turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our only sure hope in life and in death.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
