Hello, folks,
Pathological Demand Avoidance Syndrome (PDA) is something that has been around for decades, but for a long time it wasn’t properly recognised or assessed by professionals.
I have lived with this in our own family. My step-sons showed many of the traits and behaviours of PDA, and it’s clear that without proper understanding and support, society often struggles to cope with it.
It has been on my heart for a long time that many adults with this condition may have ended up in prison cells, simply because they never received the right help and understanding.
If you have a family member who is dealing with PDA, or if you recognise these struggles in your own life, please know you are not alone.
Would you share your experiences or thoughts in the comments? It could really help others who are walking through the same thing.
Let’s pray for wisdom, better understanding, and more support for families affected by PDA and other hidden struggles. The Lord sees every situation and He cares deeply for each one.
God bless you,
Peter
