Sheila Walsh – Ministering to Women of Faith on Depression

Hello folks,

I came across a powerful message today by Sheila Walsh. She is from Ayr in the West of Scotland (not far from me) and now lives in the USA. She has a wonderful ministry to women, and her honesty about depression really touched my heart.

Sheila shares openly that there is no shame or guilt in struggling with depression. It’s something many believers face, and her words bring hope and freedom from that stigma.

Even if you are a man or a young person, I believe this message will encourage you and give you confidence to get through the dark days.

I have battled with depression for many years. Looking back, I can see it was there even when I was a very young child, feeling insecure in a big world. I am so thankful I came to the Lord at a young age. He protected me through dark times, including thoughts of suicide and the difficult side effects of medication like citalopram. God’s grace has been with me every step of the way.

I pray Sheila’s message will be a real blessing to you too.

If Sheila ever reads this through a Google search, hello! It would be lovely to hear from you if you ever come back home to Scotland.

You can find more of her ministry here:

May the Lord encourage and strengthen everyone going through depression right now. His grace is sufficient, and He is always with you.

God bless you,

Peter
