Praise the Lord that you have been written in the Lamb's Book of Life! As a brand new Christian, you have just received the greatest gift a man or woman could ever receive from God, forgiveness of your sins and eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord!

In a nutshell there are four things which are very important for a new Christian to do to grow in the faith and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Get yourself a King James Bible (KJV) or (NKJV). Read and Study daily to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. God uses His word as a way of talking to you. Always use the KJV bible as your final authority over your personal feelings and what man has to say. [2 Pet 3:18, 2 Tim 2:15, Hosea 4:6, 2 Tim 3:16 ]

Talk to God in prayer every day. [Mat 6:7-13 , Psa 5:3, Psa 54:2, Psa 69:13, Psa 86, Psa 141, Phil 4:6-7]

Find yourself a Bible believing church which does not compromise the absolute authority and truth of God's Word. Confess your salvation before all men, be baptized, worship God, and have fellowship and serve with other born again believers. [Acts 2:47, 1 John 4:15, Acts 18:8, Phil 3:3, Rom 6:16-22]]

Tell others the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and what Jesus Christ has done for you. [Mark 16:15, Mat 10:32-33, Luke 4:23]

Below are topics of interest to Christians for help to grow as a Christian. Please take time and read these topics.

Please read the following scriptures to confirm your decision for Jesus Christ and what God has done for you.

Rom 10:13 (KJV): For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Psa 103:12 (KJV): As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Eph 1:6 (KJV): To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Eph 1:7 (KJV): In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

John 3:15 (KJV): That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 10:28-30 (KJV): And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.

Titus 3:7 (KJV): That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

1 John 5:11-13 (KJV): And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Your spirit has been awakened by the Holy Spirit and He confirms in your heart by the scriptures that you are now a born again child of God. When you are born again you are given a new nature which will turn away from sin and seek God's righteousness. We are not saved by feelings or good works but by accepting the finished work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as written in God's word.

1 Pet 1:23 (KJV): Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

2 Cor 5:17-18 (KJV): Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Eph 4:22-24 (KJV): That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Acts 13:37-39 (KJV): But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

2 Tim 2:19 (KJV): Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Eph 2:4-10 (KJV): But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

How do we learn God's righteousness you ask? Just read His Word--The King James Bible. If you don't understand God's Word at first, don't seek man's wisdom, but pray to God for wisdom and spiritual discernment of His scriptures.

James 1:5 (KJV): If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Mat 7:7 (KJV): Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Rev 3:17-21 (KJV): Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Many are led astray by man's false teachings and perverted bible versions in these last days.

2 Tim 4:3-4 (KJV): For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Titus 1:14-16 (KJV): Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

You will learn very quickly that Satan who is God's sworn enemy will do all he can to sidetrack and shipwreck your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Do not underestimate your adversary the devil.

Luke 22:31-32 (KJV): And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

1 Pet 5:8 (KJV): Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Isa 14:12-15 (KJV): How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

By studying and learning God's word you can grow as a believer and learn to resist the wiles of the Devil by using God's word against the Devil.

James 4:7 (KJV): Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Eph 6:11-13 (KJV): Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

2 Tim 2:26 (KJV): And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Luke 4:8 (KJV): And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

We find our enemy is not man himself but the powers of Satan and unbelief dwelling in the unsaved. We are to love our enemies so they may also come to know Jesus as their Saviour.

Eph 6:12 (KJV): For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Rom 12:17-21 (KJV): Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

John 3:30 (KJV): He must increase, but I must decrease.

Acts 7:60 (KJV): And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Mat 5:44-48 (KJV): But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

The Lord has already secured victory for us from Satan, death, and hell.

Rev 1:18 (KJV): I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

1 Cor 15:53-57 (KJV): For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psa 37:24 (KJV): Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Look to the Lord in prayer and bible study for strength and direction.

2 Cor 12:10 (KJV): Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Psa 37:23-24 (KJV): The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Psa 119:133-135 (KJV): Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

Rom 8:26-28 (KJV): Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

James 1:3-7 (KJV): Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Psa 23:3 (KJV): He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

2 Tim 3:16 (KJV): All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

As Christians we run a race. At the judgment seat of Christ, the Lord Jesus Christ will reward us according to our deeds as born-again Christians. You must be saved to run this race.

1 Cor 9:24-27 (KJV): Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Phil 3:14-15 (KJV): I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

2 Tim 4:7-8 (KJV): I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Rom 14:10 (KJV): But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

2 Cor 5:10 (KJV): For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

James 2:18-26 (KJV): Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

These topics and verses are by no means exhaustive of God's word, but I pray they will help the new Christian to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I challenge all Christians to resist the devil and grow in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Rev 3:20-22 (KJV): Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

1 John 4:4 (KJV): Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

John 16:33 (KJV): These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Welcome to BAC

Joomla In August of 2003 an MSN web group was created called Born Again Christians. As numbers rapidly rose it became apparent that there was a need for a website that would reach a wider number of people.

Our goal, by God’s grace, is to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and to demonstrate that love by obeying His Word.

Our passion is the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the teaching of the Word of God verse by verse with expository sermons.
