Benjamin Netanyahu, sharing a word to Christians around the world.

He says plainly: Israel is the only place in the Middle East right now where the Christian family is actually growing and thriving. Where you can worship the Lord Jesus openly, with full freedom, no fear hanging over you. Pilgrims come and are welcomed with open arms. In Jerusalem itself, they’ve been handing out Christmas trees every year for twenty years now.

Think of that, a simple act of kindness to celebrate the birth of our Saviour.

He points out the sad difference elsewhere, places where brothers and sisters in Christ face real hardship, where trees are burned instead of lit, where numbers dwindle under pressure. But in Israel, he says, the Christian community is growing, and they stand up for believers facing trouble across the region.

And then these words that stuck with me: “Know that Israel will always stand with you.” Sending blessings to Christians everywhere.
Folk, it reminds me how the Lord has His hand on His people, even in these last days. The Bible tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, that they might prosper who love her (Psalm 122:6).

And here we see a glimpse of God’s faithfulness, preserving a place where the name of Jesus can still be lifted up freely.

What a blessing to hear this encouragement from the Holy Land during this holy season. Jesus is the Light of the world, and no darkness can overcome Him.

Let’s keep our eyes on Him, share His love boldly where we can, and trust the Lord to guide us.
