Jesus looked at the crowds one day and was moved with compassion. The Bible tells us in Matthew 9:36-38 (NKJV):
“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’”
We’re still praying that same prayer today. The harvest is great here in the Northwest of Scotland, but we need more labourers.
If you’re looking for a church home, I want to encourage you to pray about joining us at Free Grace Church.
We may be small right now, but that’s how most churches begin, with a few faithful people who love the Lord and want to serve Him.
Some of the ways we are currently serving include:
- Door-to-door soulwinning
- Street preaching and ministry
- Nursing home visits
- Children’s ministry and nursery
- Special music (voice and instruments)
- Outreach to single sailors
There are many more opportunities waiting as the Lord sends more helpers, things like bus ministry, jail ministry, Gospel missions, and visiting shut-ins.
If God is stirring your heart to serve, we would love to have you join us. Come and be part of what the Lord is doing here.
You can reach me at 0141 416 5002 or come and visit one of our meetings. Let’s pray together and see what God will do!
The harvest is still plentiful, and the Lord is still calling workers. Will you be one of them?
God bless you,
Peter J Gordon
