Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: Curtis’ Story of Hope

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: Curtis’ Story of Hope

A Living Miracle
Curtis Zy-Keith Means is truly a gift from God. He was born at just 21 weeks in 2020 and weighed less than a pound! Fast forward to today, in 2025, and this amazing four-year-old from Alabama is filled with joy as he plays, laughs, and enjoys his favourite cartoons. His wonderful smile reflects God’s handiwork: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). Curtis’ inspiring journey shows us that even the tiniest babies can flourish with the right care and a whole lot of God’s grace!

A Call to Value Life
As a Christian in Scotland, I celebrate Curtis’ story. It serves as a reminder that God intricately weaves each life in the womb (Psalm 139:13). However, my heart is heavy because today, June 17th, 2025, the UK has enacted a law that simplifies the process of terminating pregnancies at home, even in later stages. Curtis was born during a time when some might choose to terminate. His existence challenges us, particularly our leaders, to pause and safeguard the unborn.

Hope Through Action
At bornagainchristians.org, we truly believe that every baby is a precious gift. Curtis’ joy inspires us to look forward with hope rather than despair. Let’s come together in prayer for mothers who are facing tough choices and for lawmakers to recognise the incredible value of life. By sharing Curtis’ story, we can ignite a love for the littlest members of our community. May God’s mercy guide each and every one of us.
