This morning, I woke up to the tragic news, grieving the whole day of the devastating murder of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim. The couple, set to marry, was killed in Washington, D.C. on May 20, 2025. They were leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum when a terrorist attacked them. Yaron and Sarah were Israeli Embassy staff and Jesus followers.

Vanessa Mistretta, from Yaron’s congregation, shared this with CBN News. In the video “BREAKING: Slain Israeli Diplomats were Jesus Followers,” CBN’s Raj Nair and Vanessa discuss their faith. They may have been Messianic Jews, honouring their Jewish heritage and faith in Jesus.

As believers at Born Again Christians and Supporting Israel, we stand with Israel in this time of grief. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared a powerful statement on May 21, 2025, condemning the attack as antisemitic.
