As NATO pulls out of Afghanistan, chaos and destruction of innocent lives are being taken by the Taliban.
Urgent prayer is needed for these Afghans where over the last 20 years they have built up their lives under the protection of the government who were backed by NATO.
Please pray for the children and families caught up in this civil war, where children dreamed of becoming doctors, nurses, and teachers to make the Afghanistan nation flourish.
As the Taliban continue to take control of this nation it will leave havoc and destroy lives.
Already I have heard children young as twelve been taken and forced into marriage and being perverted by podophiles.
This is no life for anyone to live in this kind of fear, please be praying for these people and in that they get protection and that they come to know Jesus to give them a peace that it no matter what happens that they will find refuge in His love.
Acts17Apologetics video intro:- As U.S. troops leave Afghanistan, Taliban jihadis are going door-to-door in the cities and towns they conquer, taking women and girls as "spoils of war." Experts say that Kabul could fall to the Taliban in the next month. David Wood discusses the issue. The Taliban has been doing this for weeks as they trample over Afghanistan. Please be praying for the innocent lives caught up in this war.
Clarissa Ward is the Chief International Correspondent at CNN – used to reporting from the front lines of conflict zones and global events. But in the past few days she found herself, more unusually, at the centre of a culture war. In a clip from one of her broadcasts, some Taliban fighters on a Kabul street were chanting ‘Death to America’ but she observed that “they seemed friendly enough at the same time. It’s utterly bizarre.”
Politicians right up to Senator Ted Cruz jumped on to social media to condemn her remarks as another example of CNN being unpatriotic and out of touch. “Is there an enemy of America for whom @CNN WON’T cheerlead?” he asked. Freddie Sayers caught up with her earlier today from her compound in Kabul. It was an extraordinary conversation — we had no fewer than three powercuts during our 20 minute discussion — but she gave a vivid behind the scenes account of what is going on in the Afghan capital right now. Definitely one not to miss.
